MedAmerica Billing Services, Inc, (MBSI) is proud to announce the launch of its online educational portal that was created exclusively for MBSI client clinicians. The educational portal provides valuable and timely information to clinicians 24/7 and is password protected, allowing for a secure environment to all visitors. Features of the portal include computer-based documentation training courses that are geared to physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. These courses include general Emergency Department documentation as well as focused review modules covering such topics as diagnostic interpretations, conscious sedations and anesthesia, critical care, fracture/dislocation care and splinting, and IV therapy and injections. Additional resources include reimbursement documentation tools, an Emergency Department documentation manual, MBSI’s "White Board" newsletter, a documentation case of the month, and FAQs for quick reference.
